Senior Financial Analyst - Biotech

Job Summary:
An established and profitable biotechnology company based in the greater Boston area is searching for a Senior Analyst to join their finance team. In this role, you'll lead critical financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who will impact strategic decisions by providing forward-thinking analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans working closely with department leaders throughout the company.
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and deliver business-focused insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Deliver detailed reports and analysis for management and executive teams.
• Create financial models that support strategic initiatives and financial decisions.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and automation while developing and managing KPIs across various business lines.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
• 4-6 years of FP&A experience in Biotech, Pharma, or related industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and other planning tools is essential to be successful in this role.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in preparing reports and presenting compelling narratives for senior leadership.

Compensation for this role:

• $140,000 base salary range plus bonus
