Aveanna’s Certified Business Line provides both short‑term and long‑term care services for individuals covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay. We support a diverse patient population with chronic conditions, behavioral health challenges, monitoring needs, skilled nursing, and therapeutic services across all age groups—from children to geriatric patients.

As a Home Health Aide, you will deliver personal care, selected treatment procedures, light household tasks, and occasional meal preparation under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, assisting individuals with special needs in the comfort of their own homes.

• Perform personal care tasks—including basic hygiene, grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and related health‑care duties.
• Conduct light housekeeping: laundry, bed making, and general cleaning.
• Plan and prepare meals, shop for groceries, serve food, and clean up afterward.
• Communicate verbally with clients, families, and Recover Health staff professionally.
• Ensure client safety while maintaining a safe environment.
• Remind and assist clients with self‑administration of medications, following proper training.
• Encourage self‑help activities.
• Report and document services provided and any changes in client condition or family situation to the office.
• Maintain clinical record documentation according to Recover Health policy, procedures, and state/federal regulations.

• Speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
• Sit and be able to climb stairs.
• Good visual and hearing acuity, strong sense of smell and touch.
• Reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
• Respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport.

• Function in diverse settings that may involve allergens and other conditions.
• Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of Aveanna’s competency testing for HHA.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Acceptable motor‑vehicle record (MVR).

• Minimum of one year of Home Health Care or long‑term care (LTC) experience.
