Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Mental Health Facilitator for our Day Treatment program. In this role, you will co-facilitate therapeutic and psycho educational groups, support meal and milieu-based interventions, and closely monitor client safety and engagement in an intensive eating disorder setting. Working within a compassionate, recovery-focused team, you’ll collaborate with therapists, dietitians, and medical staff, document services in the EHR, participate in treatment planning, and help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for adolescents and adults in care.
- Facilitate therapeutic, skills, and psycho educational groups for day treatment clients with eating disorders.
- Support meal and milieu-based interventions to promote normalized eating and recovery-focused behaviors.
- Monitor client safety, participation, and mood; promptly report and document concerns.
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, nurses, and psychiatrists on treatment planning and care coordination.
- Reinforce coping skills, behavior plans, and therapeutic goals established by the clinical team.
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Help maintain a structured, safe, and supportive treatment environment.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and staff trainings.
- Uphold ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practices in all client interactions.
