Job Description:

Clinical Trial Liaison (CTL) - Oncology Clinical Development We are partnering with an innovative biopharmaceutical organization seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Liaison (CTL) to support late-stage oncology clinical trials. This field-based role will serve as a critical bridge between clinical sites and sponsor teams, helping drive study enrollment, strengthen investigator engagement, and support successful execution of Phase III clinical programs.

The CTL will work cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and Patient Advocacy teams to provide non-promotional scientific and operational support to investigators and research sites.

Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators, study coordinators, and research staff.

Provide scientific and protocol education to clinical trial sites using approved study materials.

Support enrollment and retention efforts by identifying recruitment challenges and developing site-specific solutions.

Assess potential clinical trial sites, referral networks, and investigator capabilities.

Facilitate investigator engagement and referral pathway development.

Capture and communicate actionable field insights related to enrollment trends, protocol feasibility, patient flow, and competitive trial activity.

Participate in investigator meetings, site trainings, enrollment reviews, and cross-functional study discussions.

Collaborate closely with sponsor stakeholders while maintaining compliance with GCP, ICH, and applicable industry standards.

Qualifications Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) required.
8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.

Minimum 2 years in a field-based medical, clinical, or scientific liaison role.

Strong knowledge of oncology disease states, clinical research, and treatment landscapes.

Demonstrated success engaging investigators, KOLs, and healthcare professionals.

Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to operate effectively within a cross-functional, matrixed organization.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and territories.

Preferred Experience Experience supporting oncology clinical development programs.

Background within small to mid-sized biotech organizations.

Familiarity with clinical trial operations, protocol implementation, and enrollment strategy.

Knowledge of GCP, ICH, and industry compliance standards.

Experience mentoring junior team members or leading field-based initiatives.
