Room Attendant OverviewFirst impressions are everything! As a Room Attendant with Waterford Hotel Group, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest, ensuring guest rooms are comfortable, inviting, and clean. A housekeeping room attendant promotes a positive image of the property, ensuring a memorable guest experience.
What you will be doingRoom attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean and address all guest requests.
Responsibilities- Greeting guests and responding to queries.
- Changing bed linen and making beds.
- Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Vacuuming carpets.
- Dusting and polishing furniture.
- Emptying trash containers.
- Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Updating status of guest rooms to supervisors or managers.
- Returning and restocking cleaning supplies at shift end.
- A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
