Job PurposeHR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal regulations on labor relations, as well as internal company policies, guaranteeing the professional management of processes in the area. The HRBP supports leaders and staff in clinical and management practices national. This position cultivates and maintains partnerships across the organization and within the HR team to work proactively on solutions that support RMA business objectives, values and culture.
EssentialFunctions and Accountabilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to department leadership by providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders to proactively identify people-related risks and opportunities, translating business needs into HR strategies and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations through oversight, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR compliance processes.
- Lead the effective implementation of group and organizational HR policies, ensuring alignment with local labor legislation while balancing business needs and risk management.
- Assess workforce trends, employee relations data, and compliance findings to inform leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and oversee labor and employment-related matters, including preparation and review of legal and disciplinary documentation and coordination with external legal counsel or labor advisors.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate employee relations and compliance risk areas; present risk assessments, recommendations, and action plans to leadership.
- Coach and advise managers on performance management, corrective action, and disciplinary processes, including performance improvement plans (PIPs) and terminations.
- Lead or oversee complex workplace investigations, ensuring consistency, fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Monitor changes in employment laws, regulations, and labor trends; interpret and communicate implications to leadership and recommend policy or practice updates as needed.
- Act as a change agent by supporting organizational initiatives, leadership development, and culture alignment in support of business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in HR Mgmt., labor relations, I/O psychology or other related field
- Studies level:
University Education (Bachelor's Degree) - Studies area:
Human Resources or other related field
- Previous HR experience of at least 4 years, 1+ years of which as a Human Resources Business Partner or Employee Relations Specialist.
- Experience in the health care sector – preferred
- Knowledge of, and ability to interpret, applicable Federal and State employment laws. Understanding of labor & employment laws, compensation & benefits, policies & procedures.
- Experience in performance management, employee relations and talent development.
- Microsoft Office:
Word, PowerPoint, Excel - required
