In this role you will be developing, assessing, testing, and optimizing AI prompts and agents throughout Pega GenAI Blueprint, powering our clients’ transformational needs.

This generalist engineering role works across GenAI projects, including prompt engineering, modeling and programming. This individual will be part of a team that is working directly with our Chief Product Officer on the Pega Blueprint SaaS offering.

In particular, we are looking for a high-growth individual with a core background in traditional AI/ML technologies that is looking to ramp up into more modern GenAI solutions.

• Design, test, and build software components for execution and testing, particularly for prompts
• Design and develop agents and multi-agent solutions, execution, and testing
• Collaborate with data experts on prompt development, scalability, ethics, and evaluation
• Create prototypes and proofs-of-concept for new ideas
  
  Lead advancement in prompt engineering through research, collaboration, and education
• Partner with product managers to drive productization of ideas into shippable solutions
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience model development, ideally with NLP or AI technologies
• Experience with prompt design, LLM development, RAG (Graph, Agentic, etc.) is a plus
• Strong communication and project leadership abilities
• You are able to work at the VP and C-level
• Teamwork and collaboration skills

• 5+ years of development experience preferably in a product development company
• Strong knowledge of programming language like Python, Java
• Need to be strong problem solver and critical thinker
• Passion for harnessing multi-modal and streaming capabilities of modern LLMs
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes and Kubernetes/Cloud architected solutions is a plus

Base salary range for this role is 106, USD annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.

The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
