At Pawsitive Dawg Walking and Pet Sitting, we are a force‑free, fear‑free pet care team dedicated to the social, emotional, and overall well‑being of all animals. We offer solo dog walks (never group walks) so each pet receives individualized attention and care. We also provide services for one family at a time to ensure a safe, calm, and comfortable experience for both pets and people.

Positions Available- 10‑hour position working between 8:00 am–11:00 am, Monday–Friday, plus one weekend per month
- 10‑hour position working between 9:00 am–12:00 pm, Monday–Friday, plus one weekend per month

- We pay you by service (commission) + mileage reimbursement + cell‑phone stipend + 100% tips
- If you have 0–1 year of experience, the starting weekend pay averages between $16–22 per hour (plus mileage reimbursement + cell‑phone stipend + 100% tips). Pay increases with experience.
- This is an Employee W2 position, NOT an independent contractor.
- Depending on your availability and experience, this can be a great way to earn supplemental income.
- Make extra money by providing pet‑sitting services, extra hours, overnights, or weekend work.
- This is a part‑time job to start and will become full time for the right person. Schedules are based on client needs; more visits will be available as your comfort grows.
- A minimum of 6 months commitment is preferred. Temporary/seasonal positions (e.g., summer) are NOT available.
- Experience: Bring at least 2 years of hands‑on experience caring for animals (personal, volunteer, or professional). Handles both large and small dogs and proficiently cares for cats, including feeding, playing, and maintaining litter boxes.
- Physical Ability: Walk dogs up to 6 miles per day; lift up to 40–50 pounds (bags of pet food, litter, etc.).
- Weather Warrior: Resilient and prepared to work in all New England weather; must handle short walks to hour‑long treks.
- Pet Care Duties: Feed, manage waste, clean, administer medication, handle spills.
- Tech‑Savvy: Use GPS and review pet‑care profiles in our scheduling app; follow detailed instructions.
- Scheduling & Supervision: Manage your schedule independently; cover for teammates when needed.
- Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills; respond quickly to team inquiries.
