This role supports the Product Quality team by performing incoming and in-process inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet defined quality standards. The inspector plays a key role in maintaining production flow through timely, accurate inspection and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform incoming and in-process inspections per quality control plans
- Inspect mechanical assemblies using hand measurement tools
- Document and communicate inspection results for in-process and final products
- Partner with Product Quality and Manufacturing teams to support production schedules
- Ensure proper identification, status, and disposition of inspected materials
- 4+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician
- Strong understanding of D and engineering drawing interpretation
- Hands‑on experience with calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and similar tools
- Experience following quality control plans and inspection procedures
- Working knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Estimated hourly range: $30–$40/hr (W‑2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
