Location: Waltham, MA |
Pay Rate: $41-$39/hr |
Duration: 6 months |
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
- Develop and optimize purification processes for recombinant proteins using clarification, chromatography, and membrane filtration technologies.
- Design and execute process development and characterization studies, including impurity and viral clearance evaluations.
- Support technology transfer to scale-up laboratories and manufacturing facilities, including troubleshooting and investigations.
- Acquire, analyze, and document experimental data using electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Provide technical support for pilot-scale and/or GMP manufacturing of clinical materials.
- Evaluate new purification technologies and process innovations.
- Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical process development experience.
- Recombinant protein purification
- Clarification, chromatography, and membrane filtration
- Protein purification process development and characterization
- Impurity and viral clearance studies
- Technology transfer and scale-up support
- GMP manufacturing support
- Electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN)
- Experimental data acquisition and analysis
- Experience supporting pilot-scale purification processes
- Experience with purification process troubleshooting and investigations
- Evaluation and implementation of new purification technologies
