Join Hallmark Cards as a part‑time Field Merchandiser. You will work independently to showcase your organization, time‑management, and people‑skills while representing Hallmark to store teams.

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will:

• Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels.
• Support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed.
• Occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

• Starting hourly pay rate: $15.00 – $17.00, depending on skills and experience.
• Part‑time position with variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours: 11 – 15 hours.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities Will Include

• Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a Hallmark mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer required merchandising surveys. Interact politely with store employees, management, and customers.
• Holiday support: During peak seasonal periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), expect additional days and extended hours, including holidays themselves.
• Department resets: Participate in installations, fixture relocations, and department resets. You will be notified two weeks in advance for remodeling assignments, which may involve evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration: Work as part of Hallmark’s field network, supporting other merchandisers as needed within your territory.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to:

• Push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Stand, walk, kneel, squat, and occasionally climb stairs or step ladders, both on the selling floor and in back stockrooms.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Proficiency with a digital hand‑held device for document access and information interpretation.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores on schedule.
