We are seeking skilled and reliable Temporary Overhire Electricians to supplement our core lighting staff during peak production periods. This role is project-based and primarily focused on the physical execution of lighting load-ins, focus calls, and strikes. The ideal candidate can work efficiently as part of a team, follow directions precisely, and adhere to all safety standards.

The hourly rate for the position is $22.50###
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Load-in:
** Read lighting plots to hang, circuit, cable, and patch lighting instruments and practicals.
* ** Focus:
** Assist the Lighting Designer and Master Electrician during focus sessions, including physically positioning instruments from ladders, catwalks, or personnel lifts.
* ** Strike:
** Assist in the safe and efficient dismantling, sorting, and storage of all lighting equipment at the end of a production.
* ** Equipment Prep:
** Perform basic equipment checks and preparation as directed by the Master Electrician.
* ** Safety:
** Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices at heights.

** Work collaboratively with other production departments to ensure a smooth and safe workflow.###

Skills and Qualifications
*** Proven experience as a stage electrician in a professional or academic setting.
* Strong working knowledge of theatrical lighting equipment, including conventional and LED fixtures.
* Understanding of basic electrical principles, power distribution, and safe working practices.
* Familiarity with DMX and other signal protocols.
* Ability to read and interpret lighting plots and hookup charts.
* ** Must be comfortable working at heights,
** including on ladders, catwalks, and aerial work platforms.
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.###
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Proficiency in operating ETC Eos family lighting consoles.###
** Physical Requirements & Work Environment
*** Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
* Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
* Work environment includes exposure to heights, enclosed spaces, dust, and moderate noise levels.
* Hours are project-dependent and will include evenings and weekends.#
