Summary
Pro Equipment Rental, a leader in construction equipment rental, seeks experienced mobile heavy equipment mechanics to join our growing team. Candidates must demonstrate behavior aligned with our vision, mission & core values, adhere to safety standards, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Duties- Repair small and large engines (gas & diesel)
- Perform engine preventative maintenance
- Repair hydraulic systems
- Repair electrical systems
- Train the right qualified individual
- Perform repairs on skid‑steers, excavators, man‑lifts, light towers, compressors, generators, compactors, small engines & miscellaneous tools.
- Analyze & diagnose mechanical problems.
- Inspect, replace or repair defective parts during onsite maintenance.
- Experience with diesel, hydraulic & electrical systems.
- 1C, 2A mass hoisting license (plus).
- Own basic tools.
- Positive disposition, self‑starter, goal‑oriented
- CDL driver’s license
- DOT medical card
- Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island, Connecticut hoisting engineer license
- Knowledge of computers and diagnostic software
