Capgemini is seeking a skilled and motivated Qt/C++ Software Engineer to lead the development of standalone medical device applications on Linux. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic cross‑functional team, drive innovation through prototyping and design, and contribute to life‑changing technologies in a regulated industry. • Develop modern Qt and C++ (11’ or newer) based standalone medical device applications in Linux OS
• Lead conceptualization, prototyping, design, and unit testing of application software
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team to improve application functionality

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and address software issues

• 5+ years of experience in application software development, with at least 2 years in the medical device or other regulated industries

Documented experience developing with Qt in a professional setting

• Shown proficiency in C++ development on Linux, including object‑oriented programming, debugging, and design patterns
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects in parallel
• Experience developing and editing cmake files and build scripts in a command line (bash) environment
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
• Participates in preclinical system experiments in the lab, with physicians, and 3rd parties
• Qualifications:
  
  Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering/ Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fields

• Experience with software configuration management tools for source code control (Git), issue tracking (Jira), requirements management (JAMA)
• Experience with scrum framework
• Experience with imaging algorithms (shape detection)
• Experience with IEC 62304 or FDA Class 3
