Quantity Surveyor | Residential & Commercial Projects | East London | Permanent

I'm working with an established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor due to continued project growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.

They're open to someone operating as a strong Project QS looking to step up, or someone already working at Quantity Surveyor level who wants greater responsibility and project ownership. If it's not for you but someone suitable comes to mind, referrals are always appreciated.

The Role

Commercial management of residential and commercial construction projects

• Procurement of subcontract packages and supply chain management

• Measurement and quantification of works

• Managing valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts

• Working closely with operational and delivery teams

• Supporting projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Site visits across multiple projects as required

Residential developments up to £20m

• Multiple projects currently progressing through PCSA

• New build and refurbishment schemes

• Commercial visitor centre project

• Growing pipeline of secured work
What they're looking for

Quantity Surveyor background within a main contractor or developer environment

• Strong measurement and take-off capability

• Comfortable managing procurement and package buyout

• Residential project experience preferred

• Commercially aware and technically strong

• Looking for increased responsibility and progression
