Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an ambitious Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with a solid foundation in civil engineering. You will manage commercial aspects of major highways schemes, including smart motorways, bypass construction, and resurfacing frameworks.

This role offers clear progression to Senior QS with direct mentorship from our Commercial Directors.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage sub-contractor procurement, variations, and final accounts.

* Administer NEC3/NEC4 Option A, B, or C contracts daily.

* Conduct regular site measurements and valuations.

* Prepare accurate monthly cost value reconciliations (CVR).

* Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

* Collaborate with site engineering teams to track progress.

Requirements

* Experience:

3+ years of quantity surveying experience in civil engineering, ideally on Highways projects.

* Sector:
Proven track record working on highways, roads, or major infrastructure projects.

* Contracts:
Strong working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.

* Education:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent experience.

* Skills:

Proficient in Excel, highly analytical, and a strong negotiator.

* Travel:
Full UK driving license and willingness to visit local sites.

salary upto £48,000 depending on experience
