Reeson Education is expanding its network of SEN Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Waltham Forest on a flexible, daily supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and wants to work across different school environments each week.

Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford consistently require skilled SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties and learning delays. As a flexible SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be stepping into a range of classrooms, ensuring pupils receive consistent, caring support even when regular staff are absent.

What You'll Do as an SEN Teaching Assistant

Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support across multiple schools

Help pupils with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour

Assist teachers with lesson delivery and adapted learning tasks

Quickly settle into new environments and build rapport with pupils

Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs

What We're Looking For

Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school setting

Confidence supporting a range of SEN across different age groups

Flexibility, reliability and calm behaviour management

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to travel to schools across Waltham Forest at short notice
