The Role – Youth Mentor

This role of a Youth Mentor requires someone to work and support 1 ASD student in Year 3. The role of a Youth Mentor is needed for someone who is encouraging and nurturing towards students, whilst creating a safe and positive environment for students with SEN to develop and further their learning. Ideally, you will have previous experience with SEN and challenging behaviour.

This lovely school is based in Waltham Forest. The nearest train station is a 10 minute walk from the school. This school have a total of 460 students aged from 3-11 years old. This school is incredibly nurturing and supportive, creating a positive learning environment for all students to reach their potential. This school has a focus on meeting the needs of each student, making sure everyone feels valued and happy.

This school caters to children with SEN such as: ASD and OTH. Ofsted have rated this school as outstanding.
