About Us:

We are working with a three-form entry, Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school in Higham’s Park, in the Borough of Waltham Forest. They are looking for a permanent Year 2 Teacher. The successful Year 2 Teacher will be committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for the children. Key Responsibilities:

* Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a Year 2 Teacher

* Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils

* Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards

* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback accordingly.

* Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* QTS or equivalent

* At least 1 years’ experience

* Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum

* Prior experience as a Year 2 Teacher

* UK classroom-based experience
