iPeople SC Solutions is recruiting a Senior Carer to work for our client based in Walthamstow, Greater London.

The successful candidate must have management experience as a shift/team leader with CQC knowledge, working in a residential care home for older people with dementia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of care assistants.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate.
• Complete patient medication records.
• Develop and lead activities for service users.
• Keep families informed about their relative’s progress.
• Train and mentor new staff.

Requirements:

• Smart, reliable, with good communication skills.
• Confident individual.
• Experience as a shift lead or running a service and administering medication.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Recent training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Medication, Dementia, etc.
• COVID-19 vaccinated.

Hours:

36 hours per week
