Bid Manager, Management

Salary: £50,000 £ 75,000 per annum

Location: London / South East (Hybrid working available)

A leading UK construction contractor is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their pre-construction/commercial team. The role involves managing the end-to-end tendering process, producing high-quality, compliant bid submissions that help secure new contracts across public and private sector projects.

• Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to submission and post-submission review.
• Develop compelling bid strategies, win themes, and content tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate input from technical, commercial, estimating, planning, and delivery teams to produce high-quality bids.
• Maintain bid trackers, schedules, templates, and content libraries to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and supply chain partners throughout the bid process.
• Conduct bid reviews, risk assessments, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager (or similar) within construction, infrastructure, or property sectors.
• Strong understanding of the tender process including PQQ/SQ, RFP, and ITT submissions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple bids to strict deadlines.
• Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach.
