Mental Health Nurse

Nursing Direct is recruiting experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to provide high-quality mental health and complex care support across Chingford and Enfield. The role involves working within supported living, residential and home care environments and delivering person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include providing mental health and clinical support, assessing and responding to mental health and behavioural presentations, supporting emotional regulation and recovery-focused care, maintaining accurate care records and risk assessments, following care plans and safeguarding procedures, and communicating with service users, families and healthcare professionals.

Applicants must have a minimum of three months UK nursing experience in a relevant healthcare setting, valid NMC registration, an Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the Update Service, and PMVA or equivalent behaviour-management training. CAMHS experience and previous shift-leading experience are desirable.
