This is a newly created role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape the way we work, supporting Kia UK's growing PBV and fleet ambitions. You will work closely with the existing Technical Specialists and Senior Technical Advisors to provide industry leading levels of Technical Support to our PBV Centres and fleet partners. The role will be predominantly office based but may require ‘fast response’ visits across the country to help diagnose and repair faults on our PBV range of vehicles.

The aim is to proactively minimise vehicle off road time, which is fundamental when supporting commercial vehicles. This role will suit someone who is ideally qualified to Master Technician level and has previous experience working on and diagnosing faults with high voltage components on EV vehicles.

• Collaborate with the Senior Technical Advisors and the other Technical Specialists to effectively coordinate the field based team activity, ensuring maximum ultlisation of the resource.
• Provide onsite technical support and coaching to Technicians at Kia UK Limited dealers, PBV Centres and fleet operator workshops to ensure the fastest possible repair of customer and fleet vehicles.
• Provide onsite technical support to Kia UK Limited’s dealers and PBV Centre’s to ensure the fastest possible repair of customer and fleet vehicles.
• Carry out vehicle inspections to ascertain the warranty liability and negotiate repair costs.
• Provide support for new model launches, new model evaluations, press events and quality investigations.
