Year 2 Teacher - Part-Time (Mon-Wed) Walton-on-Thames
Time Plan Education are working with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in Walton-on-Thames for a committed Year 2 Teacher for a part-time position (Monday to Wednesday).
This role is ideal for a teacher seeking a better work-life balance while still being part of a supportive and nurturing school environment. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, strong teamwork, and focus on helping every child reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 2 class across three days per week
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required
- Support pupils' personal development and wellbeing
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
- Good knowledge of SEND and inclusive teaching practices
- Reliable, organised, and a strong team player
- Part-time role with a consistent schedule (Mon-Wed)
