Care Assistant; Part time

• Deliver person‑centred care in clients’ own homes
• Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, continence)
• Support with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
• Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans and MAR charts
• Prepare meals and support nutritional needs and hydration
• Carry out light household tasks to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation
• Observe, monitor, and report changes in health or behaviour
• Follow individual care plans and promote independence and dignity
• Maintain accurate daily records and care notes
• Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures
• Communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and supervisors
• Support clients with appointments, shopping, and community access
• Respect confidentiality and comply with GDPR and CQC standards.
  
  Hours:
  
  FLEXIBLE hours of 8am to 4pm OR 5pm to 10pm (we will require you to commit to a regular shift pattern so we can fulfil the rota ahead of time)
