We are looking for an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a fast‑paced manufacturing business during a busy period on a contract basis.

This is a hands‑on assembly role requiring good electro‑mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical drawings, work instructions / assembly instructions.

Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a safety‑critical or highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices or similar, although not essential.

• Build electro‑mechanical assemblies from technical drawings
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components
• Soldering
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
• Carry out upgrades and repairs to electro‑mechanical assemblies
• Work to defined quality procedures and standards

• Previous electro‑mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
• Ideally from automotive, aerospace, medical or another safety‑critical manufacturing environment
• Able to read and work from engineering/technical drawings
• Soldering skills
• Confident using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Experience assembling small, detailed components

This would suit someone from an Assembly Technician, Electro‑Mechanical Assembler, Production Technician or Manufacturing Technician background.
