We’re looking for a full‑time, permanent Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver to join us based at our site in Wakefield.

• Shifts:
  
  Monday to Friday – 14:00 to 22:00
• Pay: £15.86 per hour plus £2.73 for unsociable hours (18:00‑22:00)

• Loading trailers and securing goods safely.
• Operating an FLT during working hours.
• Performing trailer movements in a busy regional yard.
• Driving a tug on‑site; previous experience an advantage.
• Working safely at all times in confined spaces.

• Shunting experience required; experience in confined spaces a must.
• Flexible working hours.
• No prior experience needed; full training provided.
• Ideally hold LGV / HGV C+E / Class1 entitlement on licence.
• For trained yard shunter without HGV Class1, upskilling of licence considered.
• No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements.
• FLT licence required.
