About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Operations Assistant to provide full document, postal, courier, and operational support across a busy office environment. You will ensure that all services are delivered efficiently, securely, and in line with established procedures and deadlines.
The role requires excellent customer service, strong organisation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Postal & Document Services
Manage daily postal operations including sorting, opening, and logging Special Delivery and courier items.
Deliver and collect mail across the site, including bulk mail runs.
Ensure all postal and document-handling tasks follow financial, audit, and security guidelines.
Oversee the secure collection and processing of confidential waste.
Facilities & Customer Support
Provide meeting room support including refreshments, stock management, and replenishment.
Assist with access control: issuing access cards, managing keys, and monitoring car park barriers.
Deliver a high standard of customer service across all areas of the facilities function.
Operational Duties
Work independently for long periods as well as part of a team.
Act as a responsible driver for operational tasks.
Support evening meetings and events where required.
Provide flexible assistance across all operational services as needed.
Preferred Experience & Skill Set
Facilities, Operations, or Administrative support experience in a busy, service‑driven environment.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures.
Customer‑focused approach, with clear and professional communication skills.
Qualifications / Training Required
FM or Administrative experience (essential)
