anzuk Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support an inclusive SEN secondary school in Wandsworth from April. This welcoming school caters for students with mild Special Educational Needs and a significant number of learners with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs, offering a fulfilling and impactful role for the right candidate.

The Role

* Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

* Provide tailored support to students with a range of mild SEN and SEMH needs

* Assist in managing behaviour, regulating emotions, and promoting engagement

* Work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting personalised learning plans

* Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with staff across departments

Ideal Candidate

* Experience supporting young people with SEN or SEMH needs in schools or alternative settings

* Patient, empathetic, resilient, and comfortable with challenging behaviour

* Confident communicator able to build positive relationships quickly

* A proactive and supportive team player
