This registered nurse post sits on a haemodialysis unit run by DaVita UK, which provides dialysis care to patients across England and Wales. The work centres on giving safe dialysis treatment in line with each patient's prescription, alongside individualised nursing care and mentoring of team members. Day shifts run Monday to Saturday, and prior renal or dialysis experience is essential. Applicants need an adult nursing degree and NMC registration.
Whatthe job involves
- Deliver individualised, patient-focused care and mentor and assist team members
- Provide safe haemodialysis treatment in line with patient prescription
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with external organisations and hospital trusts
- Communicate effectively with patients, users and service providers
- Follow company procedures, guidelines and policies, and help implement and review them
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills to improve patient care
- Apply evidence-based practice and help evaluate evidence to improve patient care
- Adult nursing degree
- NMC registration
- Renal or dialysis experience
