The Role We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Optical Assistant who enjoys helping people and delivering an excellent patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Meeting and greeting patients, providing a warm and welcoming service. Assisting with frame selection and spectacle dispensing. Advising patients on suitable eyewear to meet their needs. Taking accurate measurements and ensuring spectacles fit comfortably. Carrying out pre-screening and clinical support duties, where trained. Assisting with spectacle collections, adjustments and repairs. Supporting the Optometrist and wider team with the smooth running of the practice.
