Children's Residential Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential? We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated team within a residential children's home, supporting young people who may have experienced complex trauma, emotional difficulties and challenging behaviours .

The Role Provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to children and young people. Build trusting relationships and provide consistent emotional support and positive boundaries. Support young people with complex trauma, emotional and behavioural needs. Encourage independence, confidence, life skills and positive development. Support daily routines, activities, education and appointments. Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures while maintaining accurate records.

Work closely with colleagues and other professionals to provide consistent support. Contribute to creating a safe, stable and nurturing home environment. About You Caring, patient, resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Full UK driving licence is desirable. Shift Pattern This is a shift-based role and will include evenings, weekends and approximately 1 sleep-in per week.
