As Assistant Site Operations Manager, you will support the Site Operations Manager with the coordination, planning and deployment of site crews across Seating projects throughout the UK and Europe. This varied role combines people coordination, logistics, administration and operational support, ensuring our projects are resourced effectively and delivered successfully. This role could be based either in our St Ives, Cambridgeshire or Wantage office for the right candidate.
From booking travel and accommodation to managing labour schedules, reviewing timesheets and supporting payroll processes, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule site crews, site management teams and agency labour for projects.
- Book and manage travel and accommodation across the UK and Europe.
- Support with staff holiday and sickness administration and maintain accurate HR records.
- Review timesheets and overnight schedules for payroll processing.
- Communicate project logistics and resource plans to stakeholders.
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and agency labour providers.
- Raise purchase orders and reconcile labour, accommodation and training invoices.
- Monitor training requirements and maintain training records.
- Assist with vehicle coordination and site administration.
- Provide support and holiday cover for the Site Operations Planning Manager.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a demanding operational environment.
- Experience in operations coordination, resource planning or a similar role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with in temporary structures, events, construction or related industries.
- Experience using Smartsheets.
- Full UK driving licence.
