Monarch Education is looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEN 1:1 Support Assistants to join our friendly team and support local schools in Wantage
. Whether you have previous SEN experience or transferable skills from care, support work, youth work or childcare—we’d love to hear from you!

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will be:

• Providing 1:1 or small-group support to students with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD)
• Helping pupils engage in learning and build confidence
• Supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive, safe and positive environment
• Encouraging independence, social skills and emotional regulation
• Ensuring educational and wellbeing needs are met throughout the school day

You don’t need to be a qualified teacher—we’re looking for the right person
:

• A warm, patient and empathetic personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with SEN is beneficial, but not essential
• A willingness to learn and support children with diverse needs
• Reliability and commitment
