At Atlassian Williams F1 Team, we are driven by performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Platform Manager to take strategic ownership of our Atlassian ecosystem — including Jira, Confluence, Loom, Rovo, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket and Compass.
This is a pivotal role responsible for defining and delivering the vision, governance and continuous enhancement of the Atlassian platform across the organisation. You will ensure the platform aligns with business objectives, drives operational excellence, and delivers measurable value to users across technical and non-technical teams.
You will act as the primary point of contact for all Atlassian-related matters, collaborating closely with IT, business stakeholders and external partners to optimise performance, adoption and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing Platform Strategy & Roadmap- Define and maintain the strategic vision and roadmap for the Atlassian platform in line with organisational goals.
- Identify and recommend new features, marketplace apps and integrations to maximise business value.
- Drive innovation and ensure the platform evolves alongside business needs.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, standards and best practices for configuration and administration.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Promote scalable, sustainable and high-quality platform design.
- Act as the key liaison between business users, IT and third‑party vendors.
- Gather, prioritise and translate stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and influence platform‑related decisions.
- Oversee administration, configuration and maintenance of Atlassian products.
- Manage user access, permissions and licensing.
- Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Monitor platform performance, usage and adoption metrics.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
- Lead or support upgrades, migrations and transformation initiatives.
- Drive user training, enablement and adoption programmes.
- Manage relationships with Atlassian and third‑party vendors.
- Oversee licence procurement, renewals and compliance management.
As part of Atlassian Williams F1 Team, you will:
- Embody and promote Williams’ values and behaviours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety obligations.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct and act as a positive ambassador for the department.
- Adhere to brand standards and departmental presentation expectations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the function.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with cost cap rules and requirements.

- Proven experience administering and managing Atlassian products in a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
- Experience working with Atlassian Cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps and third‑party integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience with scripting, automation or Atlassian APIs (desirable).
