Overview
Your local British Red Cross shop offers a range of activities for volunteers. We are looking for Stock Assistant volunteers to help with sorting stock, preparing donated items for sale, providing customer service, and general shop support.
Responsibilities- Check the quality of donated items and prepare them for sale or recycling.
- Replenish stock on the shop floor.
- Iron, clean, label and help price items ready for sale.
- Assist with general shop activities.
A few hours during the week or weekend, as agreed with the shop manager. No minimum commitment or fixed hours; we just ask that you agree on the hours you can attend and inform us of any changes.
Requirements- No previous experience needed.
- Full training will be provided.
- No expectation to use a till or computer.
