Business Developer

We are looking for a proactive and confident Community Engagement Lead to build strong relationships within the local community and generate new client opportunities.

This is a highly people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys networking, initiating conversations, and creating meaningful connections that lead to business growth.

• Engage with local businesses, professionals, and community organisations
• Deliver a minimum of 30 “handshakes” per week
• A “handshake” is defined as a 3-5 minute meaningful conversation with a decision-maker who can generate a client lead within 90 days
• Build and nurture relationships that convert into referrals and new clients
• Maintain an expected conversion rate of at least 1 client lead per 9 handshakes
• Accurately log all leads and actions using Zoho
• Present services confidently using a structured pitch deck
• Follow up and nurture contacts to maximise opportunities

• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

• Previous experience in sales, community engagement, or care is desirable but not essential
