Pay Range: $18.00 To $20.50 Hourly

Miller’s Textile Services is looking for a dependable and motivated Utility (Production Lead) to support our production team in the soil department. This is a working lead position, meaning you will perform production duties while helping guide workflow and ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This is a 1st shift position working Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is interested in developing leadership skills.

• Monitor and direct the flow of materials into and out of your designated production area
• Perform production work while assisting with team coordination
• Ensure employees follow company policies, safety rules, and procedures
• Conduct quality checks to ensure production standards are maintained
• Help assign employees to jobs to meet daily production needs
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues
• Help ensure orders are completed accurately and shipped on time
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Step in to assist the Production Supervisor when needed

• Prior experience in manufacturing environment
• Prior experience as a team lead or production lead preferred
• Desire to learn and take on leadership responsibilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to use good judgment and make decisions independently
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work full-time and overtime when needed
• Must be able to work with soiled linens which can include soiled healthcare and restaurant linens
• Must be able to handle strong odors and/or presence of bugs/insects
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, pushing/pulling carts, lifting products repeatedly, and performing general production tasks.
