Ware Junior Senior High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher. The anticipated dates of the position are January 25 - April 16, 2027.

• Massachusetts Licensure for Moderate Disabilities at appropriate grade level
• Collaborate and coordinate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Collaborate and coordinate with paraprofessionals
• Prepare and provide specially designed instruction in the general curriculum and other educational needs (i.e. social emotional, vocational preparation or experience)
• Administer appropriate assessments and use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and improve student learning
• Experience facilitating IEP team meetings and developing IEPs
• Knowledge of inclusive practices and co-teaching strategies, transition planning, culturally responsive practices, social emotional learning and positive behavior supports
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and services for students
• Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students' progress
• Implement IEPs, monitor and assess student performance, document and provide evidence of student progress

• Bachelor's - $304.56
• Bachelor's+15 - $315.49
• Master's - $322.79
• Master's+15 - $332.03
• Master's+30 - $339.42
• Master's+45 - $352.19
• Unlicensed, commensurate with education
  Bachelor's - $200/day
• Associate's - $150/day
• High School Diploma - $135/day
