Full-time, Monday to Friday Pay: £89 – £95 per day Are you passionate about supporting children with SEND to feel safe, valued, and confident in their learning? We’re seeking a caring, motivated, and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our committed team, offering dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
- Providing individualised 1:1 support to help pupils engage with the curriculum and reach their personal targets
- Designing and preparing tailored resources to suit a variety of learning needs and styles
- Promoting the growth of independence, confidence, and resilience
- Adapting activities to maintain engagement, reduce anxiety, and foster positive connections
- Creating a calm, supportive environment through a nurturing and flexible approach
- Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism, SEMH, or behavioural needs
- A flexible, solution-focused approach to classroom support
- Emotional stability, kindness, and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships
- Confidence in adapting communication and learning strategies to suit individual needs
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and the wellbeing of all pupils
