Position: High Level Taeching Assistant

We are seeking a committed High Level Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive and well-regarded specialist provision in the Wareham area. The school is known for its caring atmosphere, strong teamwork and dedication to helping every pupil grow. Primary work is available, with opportunities to support pupils across the full age range. This is a full-time role with an immediate start

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN
  • Confidence delivering learning activities
  • Patience, adaptability and strong communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
Key Responsibilities
  • Leading small-group and 1:1 learning activities
  • Supporting teachers with planning and classroom organisation
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Providing pastoral support and helping create a calm, structured environment
  • Assisting with daily routines and wider school activities
