Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wareham Ready to take the next step in your education career? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the classroom, lead learning activities, and make a lasting difference to children s educational journeys.
- Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
- Support teaching and learning across a range of year groups
- Lead small-group interventions to accelerate pupil progress
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Promote positive behaviour and foster a supportive learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and adapt learning activities
- Support pupils social, emotional, and academic development

We re looking for someone who is passionate about education and confident in leading learning. You will:
- Hold HLTA status or have significant experience working at a higher level within a primary school setting
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be confident delivering lessons and leading learning independently
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Have a proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
This role would be ideal for:
- Qualified HLTAs
- Cover Supervisors with primary school experience
- Competitive rates of pay
- Weekly pay and consistent working hours

- Pay: £16.66 - £17.35 per hour
