CAD Technician | Poole | £40,000

Are you a meticulous CAD Technician who enjoys turning technical concepts into accurate, buildable drawings? This is an opportunity to join a well-established engineering business in Poole, working on varied projects and seeing your designs come to life in the real world.

• Early finish on Fridays
• 28 days holiday
• Working from home considered following settling in period
• Pension scheme

• Producing CAD drawings and models from design briefs and specifications
• Updating and maintaining drawings throughout the project lifecycle
• Liaising with engineers, project managers and, where required, customers
• Supporting the engineering team with technical documentation, layouts and schematics
• Ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and internal quality procedures

• Proven experience in a CAD Technician role ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Inventor
• Joinery background is advantageous
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and schematics
• An HNC / HND or similar engineering-related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential if you have strong relevant experience
