Position: Principal Test & Acceptance Engineer
Principal Test & Acceptance Engineer | Wareham | £70,000

As a Principal Test & Acceptance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and executing test and acceptance phases across complex engineering projects
Producing and authorising test plans, procedures, schedules, and reports
Analysing test data and evaluating evidence against technical and regulatory requirements
Ensuring all test activity complies with internal standards, safety requirements, and external specifications
Providing specialist test expertise and mentoring within the wider engineering function
Supporting project delivery through integration, set‑to‑work, and qualification activity
As a Principal Test & Acceptance Engineer, your experience will include:

Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Degree qualified in an engineering or scientific discipline
Extensive experience performing structured test and trials activities
Strong understanding of engineering life cycles, verification, and validation processes

Experience with electrical and or mechanical testing methodologies
Ability to produce clear, independent technical documentation and reports
Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance
