An established precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker to join its skilled production team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer seeking a stable long-term role with varied work and opportunities for progression within a supportive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Manufacturing bespoke jigs and fixtures
Operating and programming XYZ Proto

TRAK milling machines
Carrying out manual milling and turning operations
Producing high-quality components to ISO
9001 standards
Deburring and polishing finished components
Conducting self-inspection throughout the manufacturing process
Supporting the creation of work instructions and documentation
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safetyRequirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in manual machining, including milling and turning
Ability to work from engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Capable of working independently and within a team
Reliable, organised, and self-motivated approach
