1. Role Details
Purpose:
Pick, build and complete assembly work orders and de-kits, accurately and within SLA. The Assembly
& Stock Control Manager sets which work orders are due; this role carries out the work. Also provides backup
cover across production and logistics.
2.Key Responsibilities Work orders & assembly builds
- Work through the daily work order list set by the Assembly & Stock Control Manager
- Pick the correct components for each work order
- Assemble products into packaging to the required standard
- Complete builds within SLA
- Flag any problem (shortage, damage, wrong item) to the manager straight away
- Complete de-kits as allocated
- Carry out stock moves within the production area when asked
- Record picks, builds, de-kits and moves correctly on the system
- Check quantities and components before completing each job
- Follow precious metal handling and handover procedures where metal is involved
- Keep the assembly area clean, tidy and organised
- Support other production tasks when the area is understaffed or busy, once trained
- Support logistics tasks (picking, packing, dispatch) when needed
- Follow all SOPs and H&S requirements in every area
- £12.71 per hour.
- Full-time position,40 hoursper week.
- 20 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays.
