Assembly Operative- Late Shift

Builds the work orders and completes the de-kits for the assembly team at KDC, accurately and on time, and

steps in across production and logistics when needed.

Purpose:

Pick, build and complete assembly work orders and de-kits, accurately and within SLA. The Assembly

& Stock Control Manager sets which work orders are due; this role carries out the work. Also provides backup

cover across production and logistics.

• Work through the daily work order list set by the Assembly & Stock Control Manager
• Pick the correct components for each work order
• Assemble products into packaging to the required standard
• Complete builds within SLA
• Flag any problem (shortage, damage, wrong item) to the manager straight away

• Complete de-kits as allocated
• Carry out stock moves within the production area when asked

• Record picks, builds, de-kits and moves correctly on the system
• Check quantities and components before completing each job
• Follow precious metal handling and handover procedures where metal is involved
• Keep the assembly area clean, tidy and organised

• Support other production tasks when the area is understaffed or busy, once trained
• Support logistics tasks (picking, packing, dispatch) when needed
• Follow all SOPs and H&S requirements in every area

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.

• Experience with picking, packing,dispatchor stock movement.

• Previous experience working within an e-commerce,retailor distribution environment.

• £28,517 per annum

• Full-time position,40 hoursper week.
