Shift Hours: 6:00am–2:00pm
We are recruiting an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver for ongoing temporary work in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
The role involves driving Category C refuse collection vehicles on local waste and recycling rounds, working as part of a crew to complete collections safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on position requiring a reliable driver who is comfortable assisting with refuse collections when required.
Pay Rates- £15.36 per hour
- Monday–Friday shifts
- 6:00am–2:00pm
- Ongoing temporary work
- Drive HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles on local waste and recycling rounds
- Work as part of a crew to complete collections safely and efficiently
- Assist with loading and moving bins when required
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any faults
- Report missed collections or access issues
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, supervisors and members of the public
