Sanford Surgery is under new management. However, we will stillbe delivering the same exceptional, patient focused service and working hard todevelop the practice even further. With this being our main priority, we are looking for a GP to join the family centric practice on a salaried basis.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner.

The following are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner.

There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels

• Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions
• Carry out patient consultations at home and within the surgery
• Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing
• Carry out clinical examinations
• Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments
• Carry out minor surgery where required
• Take part in practice management and administration
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals as part of multidisciplinary teams

• Member of the GMC Register
• Experience of working in a primary care and urgent care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written, verbal& particularly listening
• A clear understanding of professional responsibility and accountability
• Good clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and management of acute Primary care presentations

• - Qualified GP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent
• - General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
• - Full GMC Registration
• - National Performers List Registration
• - Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
• - Interest in Womens Health

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

£10,500 to £11,500 a session
