Safety Sitter – Southcoast Health

We are searching for a talented Safety Sitter to join Southcoast Health’s patient care services team.

Location:

Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

Hours:

Per Diem
Shift: Flexible shifts & hours, 1 major winter holiday, 1 major summer holiday

• Under supervision of an individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or Designee, perform various duties in providing rounds and observation of assigned patients who may be at risk for suicide or high risk to injury of themselves or others.

• Completion of four years of high school or equivalent.
• Additional secondary healthcare training including mental health training is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including medical based programs are preferred.
• Previous similar patient care experience is preferred.
• Education and experience equivalent to one (1) year is required.
• CPR certification required within six months.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt based on medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certificate upon hiring.

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

USD $16.11 – $26.02 /hr.

1 major winter holiday, 1 major summer holiday.
